The Tree of Life
Revealed on 15 October 2011
The true meaning of the
“Tree of
Life,” its significance and importance in our present time.
The religions say that we have a
second life that when we die we will go to heaven. But why do they let us hope to
get the fruit of the “tree of life” and the “water of life” in order to have
everlasting life on earth if we are to receive it in heaven anyway?
Let us learn about the true meaning
of the “Tree of Life”
in the Holy Bible…
And
the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and
evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree
of life and eat, and live forever.” So
the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which
he had been taken. After
he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of
the Garden of Eden a cherubim with a flaming sword flashing back and forth to
guard the way to the tree of life.
Genesis 3:22-24
“like one of us” - Why?
“knowing good and evil” - or
when they did not follow God’s commandments and knowing that they (Adam and Eve)
will be punished.
Maestro Evangelista says: The
lesson for us is: “To be deceived by another is bad.” God does not want
disobedient people; they (Adam and Eve) were not allowed to live longer lives as
punishment.
“pick the fruit of the tree of
life” – Can you pick from it literally? It signifies real food, to be eaten.
It is the kind of food that will give us healthier and longer lives. It should be the
reward of Adam and Eve if they just followed God’s commandment not to eat from
the fruit of the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”
“to
guard the way” - Maestro Evangelista says, the “tree of life” is
just there, it was not taken away. There is still hope in prolonging our lives,
like the lives of the people before mentioned in the Holy Bible.
Question: In our time, how can we
know about “good and evil”?
Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them.
Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.
Now all has been
heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring
every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether
it is good or evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:12-14
“much
study wearies the body” – if we will study the Holy Bible it will only
weary us, because we were not given the permission or authority to re-explain
its meanings. The religions have been reading, studying and preaching the
contents of this book, did they succeed in uniting the peoples of the world?
God sent forth his
messenger/prophet so that we can be enlightened (showing good and evil and
for us to
understand it) as it is written in the Holy Bible and not to be weary in finding
the right answers to our life’s great questions. Unlike religions who study the
Holy Bible, after reading and giving their own interpretations, they start to
fight amongst themselves.
“Fear God” – Did Adam and Eve
obey the commandment of God in the Garden of Eden?
It is in our present time that the
fulfillment of the commandment of God regarding the coming of a prophet (who will
introduce His Name and reveal the meaning of the Holy Bible to the people of the
world) will happen. If we will heed or listen to the prophet sent forth, we
will find the path that leads to the “Tree of Life” and we will be able to
partake of its fruit, to make us have longer and healthier lives – because he
will show us the way to find and get it!
Meaning, there is no second life or
the afterlife. We live and will die on this earth; it is up to us if we want to
live it good or bad.
“here
is the conclusion of the matter” – the time when the prophet sent forth has been
heard, you will come to know good and evil.
Regarding the so-called “second
life” - Maestro Evangelista said, if we were really meant to go to heaven, we
should have been born there right away.
Why is there a need for us to be
born on this earth, to live and to suffer in order to achieve a second life in
heaven? Because that is what everyone wants, to go to heaven, as promised by
the religions.
Maestro Evangelista says, the
“second life” is not true, what is the proof?
Let us read from the Holy Bible:
“At
least there is hope for a tree:
If it is cut down, it will sprout again,
and its new shoots will not fail.
Its
roots may grow old in the ground
and its stump die in the soil,
yet
at the scent of water it will bud
and put forth shoots like a plant.
Job 14:7-9
“tree”
– life for man, even if it is cut, it will sprout again.
But
man dies and is laid low;
he breathes his last and is no more.
As
water disappears from the sea
or a riverbed becomes parched and dry,
so
man lies down and does not rise;
till the heavens are no more, men will not
awake
or be roused from their sleep.
Job 14:10-12
Tree can prolong their lives, so it is with man. It is up to him how for long he
will live his life, but he doesn’t have a second life. This is the truth that the religions have
hidden from us.
To pick of the fruit from the “Tree
of Life” we must heed or listen to the “Word of God” that is being given by the
prophet sent forth. He will explain how to attain it and he will tell us about
the “Water of Life” and not according to legends from other countries. Who is
the water of life in the Holy Book?
O
LORD, the hope of Israel,
all who forsake you will be put to shame.
Those who turn away from you will be written in
the dust
because they have forsaken the LORD,
the spring of living water.
Jeremiah 17:13 (TAB)
God is the “Water of Life"! –
Meaning, for us to have or drink it we should heed “the Holy Word and
the Commandments of God.”
In our time, the Garden of Eden is
a symbol – that there are places like it at present where we can get the fruits
of trees that will give us food and medicine that will enable us to have long lives!
So we should stop the destruction of
our forest... because it is where the fruits of trees and plants for food and
medicine (like the “tree of life”) are to be found!
Fruit
trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not
wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water
from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their
leaves for healing.”
Ezekiel 47:12
“Fruit
trees of all kinds” – there are fruits for food and there are fruits to be used
as medicine to cure our sickness.
What kind of food should man eat
that God said before? What also serves as food for animals?
So
God created man in his own image,
in the image
of God he created him;
male and
female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
Question: In what form are we in
the likeness or image of God?
And I—in righteousness I will see your face;
when I awake,
I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness.
Psalm 17:15
It is in righteousness we resemble
God, not in appearance or physical form.
Let us read again in:
So
God created man in his own image,
in the image
of God he created him;
male and
female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
Man and woman – created by God at
the same time. God created man in many places of the earth.
Adam and Eve are only symbols
in our time;
they were to tend or to be the care takers in the Garden of Eden. In our
present time we, the people of the world, will be the caretakers of the new
Garden of Eden, the whole world.
And:
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the
earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and
over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Genesis 1:28
“Rule
over” – God gave man authority or power over animals, the fishes and the birds.
To
be for food? What should people eat to live longer?
Then
God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth
and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
Genesis 1:29
It is very clear that only “seed-bearing
plant” and “tree that has fruit with seed in it” will be our food.
What about the animals? God did not give us the power to eat them.
And regarding the animals, what should they eat as said by God?
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the
creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I
give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
Genesis 1:30
Maestro Evangelista says, let us
read if the flesh of animals are given to us for food:
“But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds
of the air, and they will tell you;
Job 12:7
Did it say that we should eat their
kind?
No, we should learn from them.
We have made or invented many
devices at systems taken from animals.
Like the flying skills of the
birds, we learned the technology of making airplanes.
or
speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
or let the
fish of the sea inform you.
Job 12:8
We learned from nature planting or
farming the land, as well as the fish, we made boats, ships and submarines to
travel over and beneath the waters.
Which of all these does not know
that the hand
of the LORD has done this?
Job 12:9
God created all of these things!
In
his hand is the life of every creature
and the breath
of all mankind.
Job 12:10
We have read and heard His Word
through the revelation of the prophet sent forth and we understood it.
Does not the ear test words
as the tongue
tastes food?
Is
not wisdom found among the aged?
Does not long
life bring understanding?
Job 12:11-12
We should learn from life as we
grow old.
The revelations of the prophet sent
forth should be listened to for he is tasked to explain these things from the
Holy Bible.
As it was read, it is clear that
the commandments of God do not change, from the beginning to the present.
Regarding eating of the flesh of
animals, how did it affect the lives of men?
Then
God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in
number and fill the earth. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the
birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all
the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. Everything
that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants,
I now give you everything.
Genesis 9:1-3 (NIV)
God tested them regarding food. This is the second test given to man, whether
they understood the commandments of God or not.
Since they were few then, after the
flood, everything around them was destroyed, and there were no plants. They
reasoned that they may eat the flesh of the animals. They did not use their
understanding, because God did not let man eat the flesh of animals. Thus, God
warned them about the consequences of eating the flesh of animals.
“But
you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. And
for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an
accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an
accounting for the life of his fellow man.
Genesis 9:4-5 (NIV)
People and even animals will suffer
for eating the flesh of other animals. Because it will have a negative reaction
in the body.
And because there is “free will” –
they did eat. How is the length of human life when they ate the flesh of
animals?
The length of our days is seventy years—
or eighty, if
we have the strength;
yet their span is
but trouble and sorrow,
for they
quickly pass, and we fly away.
Psalm 90:10 (NIV)
The life of men became shorter when
they ate the flesh of animals! Unlike the earlier people of God, they have
longer lives, because they only ate vegetables and fruits.
As we experience today, many are
dying in pain and hunger and so on. Is there still hope that the man's
existence in this world will be better?
“Behold, I will create
new heavens
and a new earth.
The former things
will not be remembered,
nor will they
come to mind.
Isaiah 65:17 (NIV)
If
it was mentioned that this is new, the old is no more. What will be changed?
“will
not be remembered, nor
will they come to mind” – life will be more pleasant, prosperous and
bountiful than the former
But be glad and rejoice forever
in what I will
create,
for I will create
Jerusalem to be a delight
and its people
a joy.
Isaiah 65:18 (NIV)
Is the change temporary or will it
be forever?
I
will rejoice over Jerusalem
and take
delight in my people;
the sound of
weeping and of crying
will be heard
in it no more.
“Never
again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; he who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere youth; he who fails to reach a
hundred will be considered accursed.
They will build houses
and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
Isaiah
65: 19-21 (NIV)
We will plant food that will
nourish and prolong our lives!
No
longer will they build houses and others live in them,
or plant and
others eat.
For as the days
of a tree,
so will be the
days of my people;
my chosen ones
will long enjoy
the works of
their hands.
They
will not toil in vain
or bear
children doomed to misfortune;
for they will be
a people blessed by the LORD,
they and their
descendants with them.
Before
they call I will answer;
while they are
still speaking I will hear.
The
wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion
will eat straw like the ox,
but dust will
be the serpent’s food.
They will neither
harm nor destroy
on all my holy
mountain,”
says
the LORD.
Isaiah 65:22-25 (NIV)
God has a promise to the people.
It is only in this time that it will be fulfilled, if we will acknowledge Him
and heed the message of His prophet.
What is the proof that the new
Jerusalem refers to a new city?
Him
who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he
leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my
God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I
will also write on him my new name.
Revelation 3:12 (NIV)
“coming
down out of heaven from my God” – meaning, the promise of God of a new beginning
for all men will be fulfilled.
And it was repeated in:
Then
I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had
passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I
saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
Revelation 21:1-2
“there was no longer any sea” – there will be no more boundaries between
nations, all the nations will be one.
“coming down out of heaven” – the promise of God regarding the establishment of
a new Jerusalem.
And
I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with
men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will
be with them and be their God.
Revelation 21:3
Where is it? Who are the people of God?
“Awake,
O sword, against my shepherd,
against the
man who is close to me!”
declares the
LORD Almighty.
“Strike the
shepherd,
and the sheep
will be scattered,
and I will
turn my hand against the little ones.
In
the whole land,” declares the LORD,
“two-thirds
will be struck down and perish;
yet one-third
will be left in it.
This
third I will bring into the fire;
I will refine
them like silver
and test them
like gold.
They will call on
my name
and I will
answer them;
I will say, ‘They
are my people,’
and they will
say, ‘The LORD is our God.’”
Zechariah13:7-9 (NIV)
Those who call on the Name of God will be the new people of God!
Return to:
“Behold,
I will create
new heavens
and a new earth.
The former things
will not be remembered,
nor will they
come to mind.
But
be glad and rejoice forever
in what I will
create,
for I will create
Jerusalem to be a delight
and its people
a joy.
I
will rejoice over Jerusalem
and take
delight in my people;
the sound of
weeping and of crying
will be heard
in it no more.
Isaiah 65:17-19 (NIV)
“the
sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more” – because at present
there are always wars, earthquakes, storms and other disasters.
“Never again will there be in it
an infant who lives but a few days,
or an old man who does not live out his years;
he who dies at a hundred
will be thought a mere youth;
he who fails to reach a hundred
will be considered accursed.
Isaiah 65:20 (NIV)
The length of years of man will be longer.
They will build houses and dwell in them;
they will
plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
Isaiah 65:21 (NIV)
They will make plantations, not animal farms for meat.
No
longer will they build houses and others live in them,
or plant and
others eat.
For as the days
of a tree,
so will be the
days of my people;
my chosen ones
will long enjoy
the works of
their hands.
Isaiah 65:22 (NIV)
“For
as the days of a tree”- fruits and plants will prolong man’s lives.
They
will not toil in vain
or bear
children doomed to misfortune;
for they will be
a people blessed by the LORD,
they and their
descendants with them.
Isaiah 65:23 (NIV)
What is the proof that God will be with us in that time?
Before
they call I will answer;
while they are
still speaking I will hear.
The
wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion
will eat straw like the ox,
but dust will
be the serpent’s food.
They will neither
harm nor destroy
on all my holy
mountain,”
says
the LORD.
Isaiah 65:24-25 (NIV)
“the
lion will eat straw like the ox” – it will truly happen.
“but
dust will be the serpent’s food” – God did not change His curse upon the snake
before.
